At the end of November, Natalie Trice, went to London to meet with Orthopaedic Research UK.
Social media had put the two organisations together and we are very much looking forward to working with the team in 2017.
Orthopaedic research can improve people’s lives in many ways:
- It helps develop artificial joints and limbs which are more comfortable and last longer.
- It finds better ways to relieve pain and improve quality of life.
- It furthers knowledge of conditions such as arthritis or osteoporosis.
These are valid, true points for those with DDH and that is why the two charities can work together so well.
As we always say at DDH UK, working together for a common goal is best practise and we delighted that and his team share this vision.
