DDH UK is a UK based charitable trust that was founded in September 2015 under the name ‘Spica Warrior’.
By law, if you set up a charity you must apply to register it with the commission if it is a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) or its annual income is MORE than £5,000.
At the moment DDH UK doesn’t have an annual income of more than £5,000 needed to register with the Charity Commission but HM Revenue and Customs recognise our organisation as a charitable trust so we are totally legitimate in our work and can also claim back tax on things like Gift Aid donations.
