I wish it had existed when Lucas was diagnosed six years ago.
This book has the potential to help so many people.
Parents with children who have DDH
Those just given the diagnosis and not know what to do next.
It can help health visitors and midwives who are often the first to see DDH in a child.
It could help GPs give their patients a starting point together with Spica Warrior.
It can be placed in waiting rooms and on orthopaedic wards.
It can sit on shelves with those red books and hospital notes.
I hope we will be able to make a difference.
I hope one day Lucas will be able to see how his DDH helped so many others.
How he inspired me to achieve my dream of being an author.
I hope it gives others the hope I don’t always feel but know is there.
